Nicholas J. Palumbo,  CFEI

Nick has over 33 years experience in fire service, both professionally and as a volunteer. Having been the Senior Investigator/Consultant for over eight years, Nick purchased the company in 2001 from the founder, John A. Rumplasch. He then changed the name to Palumbo Investigations. Nick and his staff of experts perform various types of investigations and inspections for all of the major insurance carriers as well as attorneys, independent adjusters and individuals involved in both criminal and civil matters. They are Certified Experts in New York and New Jersey Superior Courts as well as the Pennsylvania Court of Pleas.

Staff members hold National Certifications as a Fire and Explosions Investigator and also carry licenses as Fire Inspectors and Fire Officials in the state of New Jersey, as well as having the equivalent certifications from the above captioned associations. They are also staff instructors at the New Jersey Division of Criminal Justice’s Arson Investigators Course in Sea Girt, New Jersey, where one of the portions of the class they teach is vehicle theft and fire investigations. They have also been instructors at numerous state, regional and nationally recognized seminars as well as having trained fire service and construction safety professionals throughout the United States and Canada.

With regards to the insurance industry, Palumbo Investigations has provided and continues to provide both CEU training and in-house training for the many different carriers of the insurance industry, as well as their employees. Not only have the Palumbo Investigations Staff been the lead instructors at insurance schools in New Jersey, they have also instructed insurance and fire service professionals in New York City, New York State, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Delaware, Nevada, Florida and Wisconsin.
